Country Blinds Contest Terms and Conditions

1. Contest Overview

This contest is organized by [Country Blinds Pty. Ltd.] (the “Organiser”) and provides participants the chance to win a $1000 voucher on the purchase of specific products as mentioned in clause 3 and a Luxury Gift Hamper.

2. Eligibility

  • The contest is open to residents of South Australia (within our standard metro region) aged 18 and above.
  • Employees of Country Blinds, their immediate families, and anyone directly connected with the organisation are ineligible to participate.
  • Only one entry per person is allowed.

3. Contest Period

  • The contest begins on 9th December 2024 and ends on 18th December 2024 at 3.00 PM ACDT.
  • Entries submitted after the closing date will not be considered.

4. How to Enter

To be considered for the draw, participants must:

  1. Follow the official Country Blinds Instagram handle (@country_blinds) or ‘Like’ our Facebook page (@Country Blinds, Curtains & Shutters).
  2. Like the contest post.
  3. Tag at least two friends in the comments (the more friends you tag, the merrier!).
  4. Bonus Entry: Share this contest post to your story for extra chances to win! (Make sure your account is public so we can verify your entry.)
  5. If you already follow the page, simply complete steps 2, 3, 4.

5. Prize Details

  • The prize includes a $1000 voucher and a Luxury Gift Hamper.
  • Voucher: The $1000 voucher is redeemable on purchase of specific products: curtains, awnings, roller blinds, and plantation shutters only, as a discount on the total order. This voucher cannot be used on any other product other than those mentioned here.
  • The prize must be redeemed within 6 months from the date of notification.
  • The prize is non-transferable and cannot be redeemed for cash.
  • If the total cost of a job exceeds $1000, the winner will pay the remaining balance.
  • The process for receiving the products will adhere to the standard Country Blinds procedure, encompassing the following steps: an initial consultation, accurate measurements, product selection, manufacturing, and final installation.
  • The lead time for completing the job will be determined after the initial consultation, check measure, and consideration of any factors that may impact product procurement and installation.
  • Gift Hamper: The gift hamper will be delivered to the recipient’s preferred address as communicated by the winner. Delivery times and dates will be dependent on the recipient’s availability and the delivery service’s availability to fulfill the delivery. Country Blinds will not be responsible for fulfilling the delivery if a favourable time cannot be agreed to for reasons outside our control.
  • If the winner chooses not to use the $1000 voucher and/or the hamper, the prize will be forfeited, and no compensation or substitute will be provided.

6. Winner Selection

  • One (1) winner will be selected randomly and announced on 18th December 2024 via the official Country Blinds social media pages.
  • The winner will be contacted via direct message. Failure to respond within 48 hours will result in forfeiture of the prize, and another winner will be selected.

7. General Conditions

  • By participating, entrants agree to the Organiser using their name and likeness in promotional materials related to the contest without further compensation.
  • The Organiser reserves the right to disqualify entries that do not comply with the rules or exhibit inappropriate conduct.
  • The Organiser is not responsible for any technical errors or delays that may prevent participation or prize redemption.

8. Privacy

  • Participants’ personal information will be used solely for the purpose of administering the contest and will not be shared with third parties without consent.


9. Limitation of Liability

  • The Organiser is not liable for any damages, loss, or injury incurred as a result of entering the contest or using the prize.

10. Changes to Terms

  • The Organiser reserves the right to amend or terminate the contest or its terms and conditions without prior notice in the event of unforeseen circumstances.
